How to Register a Company Name in Sri Lanka
All company name registrations in Sri Lanka go through the Department of the Registrar of Companies via the eRoC (electronic Registrar of Companies) system. Before filing, you must confirm that your proposed name does not conflict with any existing registered entity or trademark.
For a PVT LTD company, you need a minimum of 2 directors and 2 shareholders, a registered office address in Sri Lanka, Articles of Association, and the completed Form 1, 18, and 19. The process typically takes 3 to 5 business days after all documents are submitted.
